Wholeness Series
Love. Strength. Sisterhood.
You're looking for the first series written, the Wholeness Series. The words that started this entire author journey over twenty years ago. Good news is...It's in revision - because it deserves to be released the way it was supposed to be written. Writing "Christian fiction" wasn't the original goal or dream. Being an author was the dream. Selling books was the goal. Then somewhere along the journey well intentioned people's opinions became louder than being authentic to the stories. Things have changed so much since Love Is was released in 2006. The change that probably matters most to you is out of respect for decency and order and readers you won't find GiG PowHer Press books categorized as "Christian fiction". As an author, and reader it's important to get what you're looking for in the books you invest time in reading. Christian fiction requires no cussing, and barely alluding to sex (even for married couples), and avoiding hard hitting topics. When those are the fiction books that work best for you, don't read GiG PowHer Press fiction books. You should check out the devotionals. As a creative — dare I say an artist — my stories never fit inside the rules of the Christian fiction genre. While the craft of writing and ability to take critique achieved from those early days as an author will always be appreciated, sharing the full growth of the characters is important, too. Changing genres fulfills the scriptural responsiblity to be mindful of other people's capacities. There is no rule in women's fiction or cyber crime fiction against including characters of all faiths, morality, and watching how their story unfolds. So, that's what I write. The new series will be considered women's fiction.
If you enjoyed the original Wholeness series, thank you again. The characters and stories are near and dear to my heart and will be available again soon.
