Professional Development Resources for Readers
Prayer, research, and living in Atlanta, where everyone threw MBAs on the table like a business card in the 2010s, led to choosing to earn a Master's in English - Technical Communication. Zero regrets then, -1k regrets now!
A post came across my LinkedIn feed about two years ago, but what made it valuable and relatable - FOR ME- was missing. Well, now it's been found.
Many thanks to Ben Meer for inspiring the "Black Woman's Personal MBA: Professional Development Reading Journal." Research, time, and the need to deliver value to readers led to building the Reading Journal into into the full personal curriculum it is today.
Alongside most of the books Meer read (excluding 'Zero to One') are books written by Black women, a Black man, and others from marginalized communities when a book by a Black woman or Black man couldn't be found.
