One of the lifestyle habits of highly successful people is writing out or recording goals. When I’m my most effective I have written out and executed the plan. For weight loss having a written workout plan and journaling your eating habits are key.Who created the workout plan is not as important as being sure you have one. It helps me stay on track. 
With food tracking or journaling there are multiple options you can track by paper or use electronic devices and applications. Some do better with preplanned written eating plans and others do better with writing as you go along to learn how to best meet your dietary needs.
Even if you prefer to use technological tools to track your workouts I still suggest handwriting your ultimate goals because there is research that shows a stronger connection between handwriting your goals and accomplishing them.
