I failed in Confession Number 11 of 12 Things I'll Confess About 2012
Many things I wanted to do this year, I did.
A lot of things I wanted to do this year, I didn't.
I met most of the goals I set this year.
I missed many of the goals I set, too.
But I did, time and time again.
With each failure something amazing happened
I tried again.
God used my friends, family and you my book and blog readers to tell me to keep going.
In each failure I found more love.
In each failure I found more freedom.
In each failure I found more hope.
In each failure I found more joy.
In each failure I found more peace.
In each failure I found more humanity.
In each failure I found a better version of me.
I confess In 2012 my attitude toward failure and success changed from what it was before 2000
to something less EXTREME...(thank goodness)
Failure isn't an option.
It isn't something losers do.
Failure happens to everyone.
I'm not looking to be famous or running from it.
The only difference between the people on the chart and the average person.
The people on the chart weren't intimidated by failure.
The people on this chart and many successful people kept going forward.
Like them in 2013, I'm embracing the freedom in failure by doing something different.
I'm relinquishing the fear of failure because life in 2013 will be brand new.
I'll set some goals.
I'll meet some.
I'll miss some.
I'll continue to become a better version of me.
