God Met Me Through Amazing Men and Women at the #ICRShow

There are so many things I learned and experienced at the International Christian Retail Show. I met three authors in particular who blessed me deep down in my soul and spirit. I will be posting their interviews and reviewing their books first.

Bob Emery shared a book that will heal the hearts of the hundreds and thousands of people who fell in love with God after meeting Christ but were hurt, manipulated, abused and misled by those in church leadership. You won't see it but during the last parts of his interview the love of God flowed so freely through this man all I could is cry. God loves us so much. We have only to accept, embrace and return it. It makes me smile just thinking about it. I will never forget that interview. His Desire Is for Me I think every believer should read this book.

The second person who impacted me in a way I'll never forget who blessed me even before I met him is Dr. Gary Chapman. God uses the life experiences of this man to help restore marriages. He is also taking the same love of God to teach leaders how to pour into and appreciate those who work with and under them. God is speaking through Dr. Chapman to help parents of adult children. Please be open to allowing God to use the words of wisdom He has shared through Dr. Chapman. Every pastor, and ministry leader will be blessed if they read and apply The 5 Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace: Empowering Organizations by Encouraging People.

In my life I've only ever met one woman whose spirit smelled like the very essence of love. No matter what perfume or scented lotion she wore she smelled the same to me, like love.  I met the wonderful and humble Beth Guckenberger, before I saw her face I smelled lilacs, jasmine and the sweetest fragrance when she opened the door to my room at Georgia World Congress Center. She has dedicated her life to the purpose God has for her and just being in her presence blessed me so much. Her heart for abused and exploited youth reminded me of a girl who loved God so much she wanted to help and minister to disadvantaged and youth to help them find the healing and restoration in Christ. Relentless Hope: Extracting the Precious from the Worthless

I'll be sure to let you know when the full reviews and interviews are posted on my book review website Faithful Folios.
