I just finished reading My True Essence. I really enjoyed the story and will be telling all my friends and family to read it. It further made me aware of how important it is to get check out and that brest cancer does not have to run in your family for you to get it. Thank you for a well written awareness story that not only address breast cancer, but also other issues that go on in life whether you're married, single or a single parent. Two thumbs up.

I really enjoyed My True Essence. Such a great storyline for such an important topic, which sadly is not talked about enough in our community. I lost an aunt to breast cancer, she was in denial and refused to seek treatment until it was too late. This book raises awareness to how sadly we are still hesitant or afraiid of screenings. Each character reminded me of a cousin, sister, niece, or friend. Well written, I can't wait for the sequel. I will definitely recommend this book to everyone I know.
My mother just had a partial masectomy in October. I loved My True Essence and I was able to identify with the fear and pain from Dominique and Charles Jr. Great read and I can't wait to download the sequal.
