Thank GOD I'm NOT a Holy Roller! Can I Get a Witness?

Everyone who knows anything about me knows I love to read. Not anything out the box because I'm working out my salvation everyday with fear and trembling but within the confines of a good story with minimal to no cussing or unnecessary foolishness, and I'm hooked. Well I have read and reviewed the last few months two books for written by bestselling author Reshonda Tate Billingsley that I just had to share with everyone.


I have yet to read a book by Ms. Reshonda and not encounter an easily recognizable spiritual takeaway and understand how the characters are searching for or strengthening despite the obstacles in their lives authentic relationships with God. 


Holy Rollers is the absolute personification of the scripture do NOT be deceived God will not be mocked. Even as the characters with less than stellar motives were exposed and experienced the consequences of their actions, God's desire to have relationship with them could not be missed.



 I felt so much for this Vanessa and her sisters in this story. I love the honesty and realness of their lives and the way she showed the awesome power and sovereignty of God's love in marriage and pursuit of relationship with His children. For any married couple in trouble I'd recommend this book. It's really good.
